Why Confetti is a Must at Every Wedding

As a wedding photographer covering the beautiful regions of Yorkshire, Humberside, and Derbyshire, I've had the pleasure of capturing countless magical moments. One thing I've noticed that always adds an extra sprinkle of joy and excitement to any wedding is confetti!

1. Picture-Perfect Moments

Confetti showers create some of the most stunning and dynamic photos. The burst of colours and the joyful expressions on everyone's faces make for unforgettable images. Whether it's a cascade of petals, paper hearts, or eco-friendly options, confetti adds that wow factor to your wedding album.

2. Symbol of Celebration

Confetti has long been a symbol of celebration and good luck. It's a fun and festive way to mark the beginning of your new life together. Plus, it's a great way to get your guests involved in the festivities. Who doesn't love throwing confetti?

3. Personal Touch

You can get creative with your confetti choices to match your wedding theme or colour scheme. From biodegradable options to personalized confetti with your names or wedding date, the possibilities are endless. It's a small detail that can make a big impact.

4. Fun for All Ages

Confetti is a hit with guests of all ages. Kids love the excitement of throwing it, and adults can't help but join in the fun. It's a simple way to ensure everyone has a blast and feels part of your special day.

So, if you're planning your wedding in Yorkshire, Humberside, or Derbyshire, don't forget to add confetti to your list of must-haves. Trust me, as a photographer, those confetti moments are pure gold!

Happy planning!

Confetti Wedding Photography

Lots of my couples ask about confetti and I always say if you can have confetti at your wedding venue then definitely do. A walk through confetti is a great way to get your guests involved in your day and also makes some great photos too. Oh and always get more than you think you are going to need as the more you have the better the photos will be!

This confetti tunnel was from a very recent wedding at Wakefield Town Hall, which is a wedding venue that I visit for wedding photography a few times a year.
