Jade and Tom’s wedding at Bowers Mill was an absolute pleasure to photograph. This industrial Yorkshire venue has such a distinctive look — a mix of rustic textures, exposed brick and modern styling — and it suited their day perfectly.

The Venue: Bowers Mill

Bowers Mill is one of those places that instantly feels special. The industrial architecture, the soft light and the peaceful surroundings all come together to create a really unique backdrop for a wedding. The team there are always brilliant too — everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and you could tell how much care had gone into the details for Jade and Tom’s day.

The Ceremony

The ceremony took place inside Bowers Mill’s beautiful indoor space. Jade looked incredible in her gown, and you could see how excited Tom was the moment she walked in. Their vows were heartfelt and personal, and the whole room felt warm and full of emotion as they said “I do.”

The Reception

After the ceremony, guests moved into the reception area — decorated with fairy lights and rustic touches that suited the venue perfectly. It had such a cosy, inviting feel.

Jade and Tom’s first dance was a lovely moment, and once the live band started, the dance floor didn’t empty for the rest of the night. The atmosphere was full of energy, laughter and those brilliant candid moments that make a wedding day so memorable.

Capturing the Moments

My approach at Bowers Mill — and at every wedding — is to capture the day as it naturally unfolds. Jade and Tom’s wedding was full of great moments: emotional speeches, spontaneous dance‑offs and plenty of genuine smiles.
