Here are a couple of photographs from a recent wedding at Holiday Inn Dodworth with a lovely bride and groom. We had done all the outside photography opportunities at Holiday Inn Dodworth and I was looking for something more as it is a lovely venue inside!

I always like to try something different where I can and when I saw the light and the staircase at the Holiday Inn Dodworth and I knew that we had to try it!

The Floating Veil

I'm busy editing away at all the lovely photos from lots of recent weddings and I came across this image. Many of you ask about a certain veil shot that I have on the wall in the studio and quite a few people assume that the wind made the shot possible, however this is not the case, I thought I would show you what goes into creating a floating veil shot.. notice my assistant manically jumping out of the way once he had lifted the veil and the beautiful image that is created once it has been edited!

What I do day to day

I don't post enough about the things that I do day to day and I thought I would show you a little snippet of what I have been doing through August other than weddings.
On the hottest day of the year we went climbing up the rocks at Surprise View just outside Sheffield for a pre wedding shoot before this lovely couple got married in August at Wortley Hall. The photographs are completely worth all the sweat and battling the heat!
