Some of you might know that I have featured in quite a few wedding magazines in the past and I am quite often asked by wedding magazines for real weddings, stock agents and advertisers to provide wedding photographs for their promotion.

However I can't do this without approval from the couple so I am asking you a favor! If you would be happy for your wedding photographs to appear in magazines or be part of a exclusive stock directory of images please just get in touch!

There is a form to fill in but that is it and your wedding photographs could be used in magazines or promotion for weddings!

Wedding Tradition Why the Bride and Groom don't see each other before the wedding!

Here is another wedding tradition! You know I love them haha!

This time its why the bride and groom can't see each other before the wedding!

This tradition dates back to the days of arranged marriages, when marriage was more of a business arrangement than something done for love. The couple weren’t allowed to see each other before the ceremony for fear they’d pull out of the marriage!

Today, it’s simply seen as unlucky to see your other half on the morning of your wedding – but since you’re not partaking in a business deal, we’re pretty sure you shouldn’t be worried! Most people just choose not to see their spouse to build up excitement and give them a surprise when they walk down the aisle looking so beautiful.

Megan & Oliver Pre Wedding Shoot at Newmillerdam Wakefield

Today I met with Oliver & Megan for their pre wedding shoot at Newmillerdam! Thankfully the rain held off and we were able to get some lovely photos! The Autumn colours in the trees were just beautiful!

I'm looking forward to their wedding in August next year, the plans sound amazing!!

Ox Pasture Hall Hotel Wedding Photography

On Saturday I had the pleasure of sharing Tasha & Andy's wedding day. They were married at Scarborough Registry office then we made our way to Ox Pasture Hall Hotel Scarborough

The weather was not the best and it rained for pretty much all of the day but that didn't stop Tasha & Andy and of course the very handsome Oliver!

Fingers crossed for April where they will be celebrating with all their family and friends!
